Hi all,
This might be an interesting event for some of you. I am most likely going to go there. Let me know if you are interested.

Dear researchers in optics and photonics,
We would like to draw your attention to the DutchPhotonicsEvent (https://dutchphotonicsevent.nl/), which will be held in the ‘Brabanthallen' venue in ’s Hertogenbosch on September 16 and 17, 2026. The DutchPhotonicsEvent, organized by PhotonicsNL, has a long-standing tradition bringing together industry and academics in the Netherlands. This coming iteration, it will be significantly renewed and expanded to include a two-day scientific conference with three parallel sessions, plenary sessions, a poster session, a job fair, and an exhibit. The ambition is to bring together the national science and industry communities across the entire fields of optics and photonics in The Netherlands. Currently confirmed plenary speakers include Andrea Alù (CUNY, USA) and Christine Silberhorn (Paderborn University, Germany).
We hope you and your colleagues will join us for this exciting meeting! We warmly welcome researchers from all levels to submit abstracts for contributed talks or posters. The deadline for abstract submission is March 15. Abstracts should be at maximum 250 words and can contain an optional figure. See the abstract submission website for details. We invite contributions from all areas within optics and photonics and adjacent fields, including these directions (among others):
· Integrated photonics
We rely on your help and participation to make this initiative a success. Please help us spread the word by forwarding this email to your team members and interested students and colleagues.
We hope to see you in Den Bosch in September!
Best regards, on behalf of all organizers,
