Dear Kaiser Members,
As some of you might have noticed, contractors have been carrying out
improvement works to the building, including the replacement of windows
with modern insulated glazing. Additional renovation activities may
follow at a later stage.
We would like to inform you about the expected impact of these works
over the coming months. There is scaffolding around the building which
will remain there for a few months, and parts of the surrounding area
will be designated as a construction site. From the start of June until
approximately the end of the calendar year, access to and use of the
facility will be limited. Following discussions with the relevant
parties, we would like to share the current arrangements and
restrictions for Kaiser members.
ACCESS FOR SMALL GROUPS
Access to the facility will remain possible under the following
conditions:
* Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 participants.
* Access is only permitted outside the contractor's working hours and
other scheduled building activities.(So after 17:00)
* This includes tours, meetings, and other small-scale member
activities.
PLEASE NOTIFY THE BOARD
If you intend to go with a large group (+5), please inform the board in
advance so we can inform the construction personnel.
NO LARGE PUBLIC EVENTS FOR THE TIME BEING
Unfortunately, larger events involving significant numbers of external
visitors cannot be accommodated during the renovation period. Most
activities will be taking place in the Gorlaeus building for the time
being.
At present, we expect these arrangements to remain in place until the
end of the year. We understand that these restrictions may be
disappointing for many members, and we appreciate your patience and
understanding. The board will continue to monitor the situation closely
and will provide updates should circumstances change or additional
access become possible.
If you have any questions or require clarification on matters not
covered in this announcement, please do not hesitate to contact the
board.
